Dr. Keshav Deo    Vice President - R&D (API)

Dr. Keshav Deo has earned his B.Sc., M.Sc. degrees from Agra University Agra. He has completed his Ph.D degree from Central Drug Research Institute, Lucknow, India. During his Ph.D. tenure he worked in the area of synthetic nucleosides in search of novel antiviral, antiAIDs and anticancer agents. Prior to joining Alembic, Dr.Deo previously held the positions of increasing responsibility within the research & development department of various Indian pharma companies. He started his carrier from Lupin Laboratories followed by Tata Pharma, Sun Pharma, Dai-Ichi Laboratories, and Ranbaxy Research Laboratories. Dr. Deo is also life member of various national / international chemical research societies and also is a recognised supervisor for Ph.D degree in various Indian universities. During his 18 years of working in pharma industry Dr. Deo has guided a team of scientists and driven the activities from concept to commercialization for the regulated markets. He has filled more than 40 research publications/patents.             His research interests include chemo, sterio & regioselective reductions, asymmetric catalysis, biotransformation and insightful process development of significant active pharmaceutical ingredients.

Rajesh S. Kshirsagar Associate Vice President (Pharma Research)

Mr.Kshirsagar is a M.Pharm from University of Pune and has a rich experience of 13 years in the field of drug delivery research. During the course of his career he was associated with leading pharmaceutical companies like Lupin Limited, Pune and Orchid healthcare, Chennai.

He has a rich experience of development of Pharmaceutical dosage forms for the regulated markets. He is specialized in the area of Oral controlled drug delivery systems.

He has been an active participant at the AAPS Pharmaceutical Technology Conference on Controlled Release Drug delivery systems organized by AAPS at Tucson, Arizona, USA and International Eudragit workshop organised by Rohm Pharma, Germany.
